CEO / Managing Director

Martin Knopp

With a background in computer science, Martin has more than 20 years of experience in the management of medium-sized software companies. Of these, he has worked for 15 years with Delegate, where he started as Head of Development in 2008. Since 2016, he has been CEO with overall responsibility for the Delegate Group. He brings his experience both in the area of organizational structure but especially in the further development of the products on a functional and architectural level. Previous positions were Business Analyst in a large Austrian insurance company and Managing Director of a medium-sized German software company. Today Martin is one of the main shareholders at Delegate.

Markus Gruber

Markus has more than 20 years of experience within the IT/Software industry. From small to very large international companies, working in different countries and handling various cultural challenges between multinational teams, he never lost his passion for the people business. He has dealt with huge global customers and proved many times that he is very customer focused and service oriented without losing sight of the economic aspects. As a leader he followed his passion and started a great journey together with a highly motivated and talented team at Delegate more than 12 years ago. Today Markus is one of the main shareholders at Delegate.

Kerstin Dix

Her managing career started as a Restaurant Manager at a well-known German hotel chain, introducing the new F&B and POS software which eventually lead her to work for MICROS Fidelio as an Installer, travelling all over Europe as Pre-Opening Manager for a German movie theatre chain. Getting the chance to work for Delegate, the catering business was a completely new area to her. Her biggest dream, working on international projects, finally came true with Delegate. Argentina, Kuwait, Australia, USA are only a few of the countries she introduced our Foodservice software to. Starting with Delegate as a Project Manager, she advanced from Product Manager to Director Quality Assurance. Now with Delegate for over 20 years, she knows the catering business and our software by heart and plays an important role in our Management team Vice President Products.

Klaus Schober

Vice President Global Sales

Klaus Schober

Klaus has over 15 years of global professional experience and has gained experience as a project, account and sales manager on his journey. After studying logistics and transport management, he gained he focused on Saas in the healthcare sector for a global NPO. In 2016, this took him also to the other side of the world, where he was able to get to know the Australian healthcare system before settling back to Austria in 2020. With his expertise in International Sales processes in Healthcare, B2B and SaaS, we are delighted that Klaus is strengthening our global sales team as Vice President Global Sales since November 2023.

Director Solutions & Consulting

Christian Schmidt

Christian worked in the hospitality industry for seven years from chef apprenticeship to executive chef. After his business studies he started his career at Delegate in 1999 as a Project Manager. With more than 20 years of experience at Delegate, he is now "Director Solutions & Consulting", responsible for content-related topics for the further development of the solution as well as for internal and external consulting. He supports our customers in analyzing and designing processes on the one hand and on the other hand the Delegate teams Implementation, Sales, Service and the product specialists with his Delegate Know How.

Director Of Business Development

Adam Johnson

Working in the hospitality industry for 15 years, he worked his way up from waiter to general manager. Moving into the software industry he installed and trained for MICROS Fidelio UK (now Oracle MICROS). In 2006, Adam started as an international Project Manager for Delegate in Vienna. He later moved to Australia heading up the Asia Pacific region as Managing Director. After many successful years he moved on to a new challenge in the United States, as Director Business Development to strategically grow the North America Market. Since 2020 he is back in Vienna as European Director Business Development Partner.

Silke Steiner

Silke is a Foodservice professional through and through and is in charge of the data management team at Delegate. For more than 10 years, she has helped companies increase their sustainability in food production, improve process efficiency and drive innovation. Both efficiency and sustainability drive her as much as the desire to find the best possible solutions to any problem. For our customers, she draws on years of experience at Delegate, her studies in biotechnology and IT management, and her international background. This helps her anticipate the specific challenges of the industry and apply her knowledge specifically to building efficient, modern enterprise resource planning systems.

Director of Enterprise Sales (USA)

Tessa Setzer

Bringing together her professional backgrounds of technology and healthcare foodservice, Tessa has been leading the Delegate North America sales strategy since 2021. With over 15 years of experience in consultative sales roles, she understands change management and is skilled at partnering with clients to create transformational improvements within organizations. As a member of the international sales team, Tessa sees how global needs are changing regarding foodservice operations and she is focused on bettering initiatives such as efficiency, sustainability and interoperability within her region.

Head of Implementation & Projects

Bernhard Wolfram

For more than eight years, Bernhard has been accompanying the implementation of our foodservice solutions at our clients from different segments. Together with the clients' project team, he always succeeds in working out efficient, practicable, sometimes more complex, sometimes more pragmatic processes and in finding solutions. "At the end of a project, everyone involved should be able to look back on the hard work with satisfaction and pride" - this goal is clear to him right from the start. Now, he heads the "Implementation & Projects" department. In doing so, he can use his know-how from his IT management training as well as the diplomatic skills from his political science studies. Together with a strong team of motivated hands-on personalities, he is ready to convince new customers of our solutions and to bring users from wanting to doing.

Business Development Manager (Australia)

Ely Rosmulder

Ely Rosmulder, Business Development Manager for ANZ he is highly experienced in Foodservice Software and Running Kitchens. He has been working in the Hospitality Industry since 2006. After literally starting washing dishes, he worked his way through to own and run a successful Restaurant and bar for 6 years in Richmond, eventually selling in 2018. Since then he has been helping Restaurants implement Foodservice Software to increase sales and efficiencies for businesses. Ely has now grown to work with Delegate to expand these skills to include Hospitals, Aged Care Facilities and Catering Services. Ely lives in North Fitzroy with his partner and new born child and in his spare time loves playing cricket, makes a mean curry, loves his music and of course the mighty Bombers.

Nadia Alipan

Nadia’s experience stems back to 1993 serving meals in the staff cafeteria at a Melbourne public Hospital, during Nadia’s time in Hospital Foodservices she has been exposed to the Hospital Catering process from the ground-up, and is where her interest in Food Management Systems begun. Employed by one of Australia’s largest Facilities Management companies, Nadia was involved in implementing and supporting an electronic menu and kitchen management software solution across multiple installations in Australia and New Zealand. During this time had also been fortunate to be involved in an in-house Software Development project partnered with Microsoft. Joining Delegate as a Solutions Consultant in 2014 and gaining some great experience working together with customers to achieve their best in using the Delegate solution, Nadia has since progressed to Managing Director for the Delegate Australian operation.

David Edwards

With a career that started in food and beverage, David has been mixing hospitality and technology since the early 1990’s: This was in the early days of enterprise (multi location) data design for hospitality. First in the business sector, he worked for 20+ years consulting, installing and managing sophisticated hotel management systems throughout the USA and abroad. In 2008, David was sought out by the Delegate leadership in Vienna to open the Delegate Group North America operation with a focus on expanding the software’s robust supply chain management capabilities to cover patient nutrition. In his 15 years as a Managing Director, David has been the focal point, overseeing the sales, product management, technical, service and support efforts of over 150 successful healthcare sites, the majority of which are now utilizing the latest in cloud-hosted technology with robust system interoperability, always with an eye on what future technologies will help make our hospitality work lives more efficient.
